About Us

Hello, lovely! I’m Jenni Edwards, the founder of Brew & Breathe.

Brew & Breathe was born from my own messy, necessary journey of slowing down. A few years ago, I found myself completely burnt out — running on caffeine and cortisol, saying yes to everything, barely breathing properly. My body was screaming at me to stop, but I didn’t know how.

It wasn’t a sudden epiphany or a dramatic transformation. It was small, quiet moments that changed everything: the ritual of making tea in the morning, actually tasting it instead of gulping it down. Realising I’d been holding my breath all day. Moving my body not to burn calories, but to feel like myself again. Writing in my journal at night… not productive planning, just letting my thoughts land on the page.

These weren’t grand wellness practices. They were survival tools. And slowly, they became the foundation of how I live now.

That’s what Brew & Breathe is really about: coming back to the basics. The things our ancestors knew. The things we’ve forgotten in the rush. We work with four ancient medicines: plants, breath, movement, and reflection.

🌿 Plants

Our herbal blends aren’t fancy. They’re crafted from herbs that have been used for thousands of years because they work. Chamomile to help you soften at night. Nettle to nourish you in the morning. Tulsi, when you need to stay grounded but keep going. Real plants, doing what they’ve always done.

💨 Breath

Our breathwork practices are simple. No complicated techniques or guru-speak. Just conscious breathing that helps your nervous system remember it’s safe to relax — because most of us are walking around holding our breath without even realising it.

🤍 Movement

Our movement rituals aren’t about performance or flexibility. They’re about feeling your body again. A stretch while the kettle boils. A twist before bed. Gentle, kind movement that says, “I’m here. I’m alive. I’m allowed to take up space.”

🪶 Reflection

And reflection… the part I honestly didn’t expect to be so powerful. Mostly because it was the one I struggled with the most. Sitting down with an open journal at the end of the day felt like the last thing I’d be doing — but something shifted. Not through long entries or perfect handwriting, just through showing up. Letting the day spill out in whatever way it wanted. Some nights it was three lines. Some nights it was one word. It became transformative in its simplicity.

And because I know how hard journaling can feel, we created easy, gentle prompts — the kind that meet you where you are, help you unwind your day, and slowly open the door to deeper self-connection.

Together, these four things create a rhythm. Not a rigid routine, but a gentle coming home to yourself. Morning tea and a few deep breaths before the day begins. Evening tea, a stretch, and a few minutes with your journal before bed.

I’m not going to tell you it will change your life overnight. But I will tell you this: small acts of care, repeated daily, compound. They become the foundation you didn’t know you were building. They become the way you move through the world.

You don’t need to do more. You don’t need another wellness subscription or self-improvement plan. You just need to remember how to care for yourself in the simplest, oldest ways.

Brew a cup of tea. Take a breath. Move your body. Write it down.

That’s it. That’s the practice.

I’m so glad you’re here.

With love and gratitude,
Jenni 🌿
